Flavie Michou

Flavie Michou is a French designer from Paris, France.

Flavie attended the prestigious jewellery school Nicolas Flamel – Ecole Boulle, and during her goldsmithing studies she was introduced to gemology and the painting of gold stones and pearls. She works with wax, metal and polishing skills.

After graduating, Flavie worked for different prestigious jewellery workshops for more than five years on the Grand Boulevard in Paris, working with gold and platinum on pieces for Cartier, Chaumet, Channel, Tiffany & Co and DeBeers, to name a few. During 2010 she went to Lebanon where she mastered the art of setting.

More recently, Flavie moved to London and has created her own collection.

Michoacan is from Dia de muertos in Mexico.
During the 'Day of the Dead', the streets are filled with alters made from an array of flowers, and amazing food: what caught Flavie's eye most was the sugar craft.
The delicate sugared skulls inspired this new collection of jewellery entitled 'Michoacan'.
