Central Saint Martins grad and purveyor of maximalist fashion Louise Gray launched a capsule jewellery collection with a range of nine gold-plated pendants, rings and earrings.
The collection features googley-eyed earrings, heart-shaped rings and pendants with containers of French fries and anthropomorphic lions and captures the same sense of over-the-top fun and colorful pop playfulness that Gray's ready-to-wear lines have become known for.Sunday, 7 August 2011

Enigmatic wearables, Lucy Harvey

Had you ever thought about wearing old pen knibs made into a pair of earrings?
Lucy Harvey has! She is described as 'elevating mundane and forgotten objects to significant keepsakes', and she certainly does. She works on personal adornment and comes up with some very wearable pieces, if her particular style is your choice. What a wonderful gift these earrings would make too, if you had someone you knew who was interested in creative writing, just plain ordinary writing, calligraphy, book illustration and so on. A present with a difference, that's for sure.
