Barbara Uderzo

Barbara Uderzo is the creator behind these fascinating pieces.

“The scope of my creative work is not circumscribed to the goldsmith's craft because I use different materials, above all not precious materials... In fact, some collections are made in wood, there are succulent rings, plastic blob rings, and steel imprinting."

Some of the jewellery includes live plants and succulents!

Based in Venice, Italy, Barbara Uderzo  makes unique pieces, as well as working with companies as a designer and model maker.

Mike and Maaike

Using Google Image Search, Mike & Maaike browsed through some of the most expensive and often famous jewellery in the world, to create their series 'Stolen Jewels'.

The low-res images they found were 'stolen', doctored, then transferred to leather, creating a tangible new incarnation. With the expense and intricacy of the jewels stripped away, their essence and visual intensity are extracted.     http://www.mikeandmaaike.com/#p_mandm
